A close focus acrylic painting of banana leaves. The original of this painting is a diptych.In reality the top one third of this painting is a seperate piece. It can be hung as two pieces or joined together to make one painting.

I am an Australian ex-pat, and after living on the Hawaiian island of Maui for 12 years, moved to mainland USA in 2002. I teach art and conduct workshops and demonstrations in many parts of the States and Australia. In the 1990's I began a 400 student art school in Australia and when I lived in Hawaii owned two art galleries on Maui. I paint in every medium, and can really say there are no favourites for me, I see what the subject dictates and off I go. Water and movement are constant themes in my work and I LOVE color.
